Leadership vision  &

roadmapping

For growing SLT leaders & SME Founders ready to align leadership, strategy & business growth

What happens when your business is growing, yet the path forward still feels harder to define than it should? This practical training programme helps scaling leaders sharpen their vision, test their strategy, use customer insight more effectively. Then you’ll build a roadmap for sustainable growth. Delivered in person or online, it is designed to build capability through training and advisory frameworks rather than coaching.

Build a clearer path to business growth

What does the next stage of growth ask of you as a leader?

For many SME leaders, the challenge is not a lack of ambition. It is a lack of clarity. The business may be moving, the team may be busy and opportunities may be appearing, yet the strategy still feels scattered, the positioning may have drifted, and the path ahead is not fully aligned.

Leadership Vision & Roadmapping for Growing SMEs is designed to help you step back and think more clearly about where the business is now, what the market is asking of you, and what kind of leadership will support the next stage well. Through practical workshops, you will strengthen strategic thinking, sharpen customer focus and build a roadmap that can guide action with more confidence.

Leadership roadmapping for success

1

Kickoff and current leadership vision

This first workshop helps participants evaluate their current business vision, market positioning and brand architecture. The focus is on recognising where blind spots, bias or outdated assumptions may be limiting customer alignment and strategic clarity.
2

Gap analysis and customer insight

Leaders learn how to conduct a practical gap analysis and make better use of customer feedback and market insight. This helps reveal where strategy, brand and customer expectations may be out of step and where improvement matters most.
3

Market fit and strategic innovation

This workshop introduces tools and frameworks for assessing whether current strategy still fits the market as it is now. Participants explore how innovation, collaboration and better decision-making can support sustainable growth.
4

Roadmapping for success

The final workshop turns insight into action. Participants define measurable goals, identify practical implementation steps, and create a roadmap for business growth with clearer priorities, stronger alignment and meaningful success measures.
How the programme works

Self-awareness for practical growth planning

The programme is delivered across four workshops of five hours each, giving individuals a total of 20 contact hours. Delivery can be in person or online, depending on location. Auckland and Waikato participants ideally will be in person.

Each workshop is interactive and built around applied learning. Participants do more than listen. They work through guided reflection, discussion, practical exercises and structured planning activities that help them test ideas in real time. The aim is to build leadership capability that can transfer back into the business, rather than offering insight that is interesting in the room but hard to use later.

For leaders who also want to strengthen how they win and qualify the right clients, The Trust Advantage is a relevant companion programme.

Clearer vision improves better decision-making and strength in leadership.

When leaders are clear about direction, it becomes easier to set priorities, communicate choices and reduce wasted effort across the business.

Customer insight reduces costly misalignment

Growth plans work better when they are shaped by what customers value, not just what the business assumes is important.

Shared roadmaps improve follow-through

When goals, responsibilities and measures are visible, teams are better able to act with consistency and confidence.

Leadership development is most useful when it creates stronger connection between vision, market reality and execution. That is why this programme combines reflection with practical planning. It helps leaders think with a wider lens while still translating that thinking into grounded action.

“Liz has a wonderful way of sharing her knowledge and explaining her thoughts and visions in a way that’s very easy to understand. She inspires people to think with a wider scope.” Jules M
