Hi! We’re Good CX Limited (called we, us or our below). This Privacy Policy tells you how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use our website, send us an enquiry, sign up for one of our courses, or subscribe to our updates. It applies to you (called you or your below).

What personal information we collect

Personal information is information that can identify a person. We may collect: your name, email address, phone number, company or role, what you tell us through enquiry forms, course bookings or correspondence, marketing preferences, and technical info like IP address, device type and how you use our website (collected through cookies and analytics).

Why we collect it

We collect your info to respond to enquiries, deliver and administer our courses and coaching, send you updates and marketing where you’ve opted in, improve our website and services, and meet our legal obligations. We only use your info for the reasons we collected it and keep it only as long as we need to.

Where we collect it from

Mostly directly from you — when you fill out a form, book a course, email us, or interact with our social media. We also collect technical information automatically when you visit goodcx.co.nz through cookies and tools like Google Analytics.

Who we share it with

We share your info with trusted third parties that help us run the business, including our website host (WordPress.com), email marketing platform (Mailchimp), booking tool (Calendly), and analytics provider (Google Analytics). Some of these providers are based outside New Zealand. We’ll only disclose your info offshore where the recipient is subject to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, similar privacy laws, or we’re satisfied they’ll adequately protect your info — or where you’ve told us we can. We may also share info where required or permitted by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and marketing info for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us. Course and client records are kept for 7 years to meet our tax and legal obligations. After that we’ll securely delete or anonymise it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable steps to protect your info, including HTTPS encryption on our website, password-protected systems, and restricted access. No internet transmission is ever 100% secure, but we take it seriously.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask what info we hold about you and to correct it if it’s wrong. To do this, just email us using the details below — we’ll respond within 20 working days. You can also unsubscribe from marketing anytime via the link in our emails, or by emailing us. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your info, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
