Register InterestTrust-based selling that creates real results
Most sales training starts with scripts and closing tactics. But in trades and professional services, that often backfires. Because your clients can feel the agenda.
The Trust Advantage starts somewhere more human: understanding who your customer is. You’ll consider the situation they’re in when they search for you, and how trust forms across digital and in-person touchpoints. From there, you build the practical skills that make selling feel calmer, clearer, and more effective.
This is consultative sales training is guided by the Trust Equation: build credibility, show up reliably, create safety, and reduce self-focus. You’ll walk away with a workbook, templates, and a system your whole team can use.

How the programme works
Structured for lasting behaviour change
This isn't a one-day workshop you'll forget by Friday. The Trust Advantage spans 8–10 weeks and 20 contact hours - enough time for real habits to form. It starts with a full-day kickoff introducing the sales flywheel:
Delight, Lead, Qualify, Discover, Engage, Propose, Close.
Four 90-minute online sessions follow, covering right-fit leads, discovery conversations, objection handling, and closing - including when to walk away. Role-play features in every session, because confidence only comes from practice. The programme ends with a final hands-on lab: live deals, coached practice, and a plan for teaching it inside your team. Groups typically run with 15-20 participants.
What the research tells us about trust-based selling in NZ
In typical NZ B2B pipelines, only around 1 in 7 deals closes. That's not a closing problem - it's a qualification and trust problem. And it's most pronounced in trades and professional services.
In NZ 14% is an average close rate
Most losses happen before the proposal - due to poor fit and late qualification.
Trust consistently outperforms price
Where trust is strong, price sensitivity drops and fit wins the deal.
Cohort learning accelerates behaviour change
Peer learning helps new sales habits form faster and stick longer than solo study alone.
In professional services, trust has to form before the first real conversation. Sales training that starts with customer understanding consistently outperforms scripts-first approaches. The Trust Advantage is built on that evidence: qualify early, run discovery conversations that reduce friction, and let the Trust Equation make your sales process feel more human — and more effective.
