When it comes to rapid prototyping, Pasan Thilakasiri is a specialist. “Seeing is believing” becomes reality when powered by open-source AI technologies. And they actually work outside a lab! Humble in the boardroom, Pasan actually holds a PhD in e-government from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Also, he has MSc in Information Systems Management, and a BSc (Hons) in Computing from the University of Greenwich, UK. Pow.

Seeing is believing

Highly experienced, Pasan Thilakasiri’s experience spans sectors and continents. Notably, his work leading the nationwide Hospital Health Information Management System (HHIMS) in Sri Lanka now serves 9.5 million people. Furthermore, Pasan also won the 2016 Commonwealth Medical Health Award. Later, Pasan open-sourced this tech for promoting e-Health among general practitioners.

Ultimately, for Pasan, it’s never about pushing the latest tech trend or hot topic like AI. Firstly, it’s about finding the right solution for the problem. And then making sure it works for the people who use it. Linked with Good CX Insight work it’s a powerful combo.

Outside of work, Pasan is into both Western and Eastern music, playing a couple of instruments. Also, his UK-based company, HighFlyer Ltd, allows us to work together on European projects.
